"I was sitting at the back of my Bali hostel one evening and recording the sounds of the ambience, with my zoom. The air was was alive with the noise of a very busy town with people talking, socialising and working the streets whilst being flanked with thick jungles all around. The recording was never meant to be used in this way but I was inspired to create a track using organic sounds and a combination of reverb, dynamics and stereo imaging.

In essence, the first track of the EP should be binaural in a way that there is sound coming from all around you. The way the track was created put percussive elements into a 3d space so when you listen with headphones the sound is everywhere.

This record ended up being really cinematic, with moments where you feel suspended in the melodies that suck you in and demand your attention.

It was also amazing having Ekzander come on board with his super energetic breaks remix, which really brought up the pace as the last song on the EP."
